Perhaps such was the case of me with Prasun. Those eyes kept me haunting every time. At night I slept with the hope to find those eyes the next day with some affection for me. And on the day when I did not find him, I waited for the next day with the same hope. I wished to see him, to remain close to him, just to feel those eyes near me…upon me. Though there was no love, or care for me.

Sometimes day after day he remained absent. But when I garnered the grit to avoid his thought preparing myself to come out of it and live my own life, suddenly he reappeared and honed the axe for my next slaughter.

Spread the love

Hey, I am Munmun, the phoenix fabulist who wants to tell you stories. I love to read stories and I love to weave stories. I feel life is an amalgamation of multiple stories, colourful threads, and threads of pain, pleasure, hope, and hopelessness. We just need to pick those hues and arrange them, knitting them with our own emotions and perception. So let's celebrate the stories of life.
